For the second year, Danville Regional Medical Center will sponsor a youth football camp for children ages 7 -13 July 26th - July 29th at Dan Daniel Park. Kids & Pros Youth Football Camp offers high-energy football instruction and teaches campers football fundamentals and position-specific techniques. The unique camp also features character and life principle discussions each day that are led by one of the attending pros.

Buddy Curry, who is the founder of Kids & Pros, played inside linebacker for the Atlanta Falcons for eight seasons and was named Defensive Rookie of the Year in 1980. Buddy will conduct the camp, along with other football stars, including: Bobby Butler, Kenny Lewis, Ferrell Edmunds, Donald Smith, Ken Oxendine, Na Brown, Jeremy Phillips, Kenny Lewis, Jr., and several current Virginia Tech players.

The final night of the camp will feature a ‘Pros and Joes’ football game starring several of the ‘pros’ and several local ‘joes.’
