As a Pacesetter for United Way of Danville-Pittsylvania County, Danville Regional Medical Center will host a community informational fair on Tuesday, July 27 from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. in the main lobby of the hospital.

The community informational fair will feature representatives from several United Way-funded organizations, including Big Brothers Big Sisters, Goodwill Industries, The Free Clinic, the Hatcher Center, Boys and Girls Club, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Danville Speech and Hearing, the Salvation Army, Danville Cancer Association and others. There will also be information available about other United Way community initiatives, such as Smart Beginnings of Danville-Pittsylvania County, Neighbors Helping Neighbors, Building Economic Success Together (BEST) and Financial Freedom. United Way staff members will also be handing out free prescription drug cards and holding drawings to win a LIVE UNITED T-shirt.
