DANVILLE, Va, (May 24, 2010) - Danville Regional Medical Center’s School of Health Professions Radiologic Technology Program recently gained a full re-accreditation from the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV).
The Radiologic Technology Program began in 2003 and is a competitive, two-year program that trains full-time students to work as radiologic technologists. Radiologic technologists perform diagnostic x-ray procedures in a variety of clinical settings, including hospitals, clinics and primary care settings.

They were also impressed with the high level of dedication the staff and instructors commit to ensure the program is effective and provides the best possible training for the students. The report commended the program on an “outstanding level of student satisfaction.”
