WSET Channel 13 reporter Sarah Bloom visited the Danville Diagnostic Imaging Center to learn more about the digital mammogram exams. The new mammogram technology allows doctors to detect cancer earlier in patients, which could lead to earlier treatment and a higher survival rate. The digital mammography units are the first in the Dan River region.
